You will help contribute to a dynamic organization, dedicated to providing the highest quality risk management and insurance programs for Rhode Island’s cities, towns, school districts, and public sector entities. Our team provides loss prevention programs, training, and resources to our members. We work collaboratively, serving as trusted advisors and helping to promote a positive safety culture, while reducing the frequency and severity of claims. You will be our team’s specialist in occupational health and safety and play a critical role supporting our Members with workplace injury prevention. You will be conducting on-site visits, create safety documents, involved in safety committee meetings, deliver trainings, incident investigations, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management, or a related field.
- BCSP credentialing or similar professional designations preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in workplace safety, loss prevention, or risk management preferred Motivated self-starter with a customer-focused approach, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong attention to detail, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and prioritize Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook email and calendar Knowledge of workplace safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
