Built for Her: A WISE Look at Women’s PPE
October 14 | 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is one of the most essential layers of worker safety. However, most PPE has historically been designed based on male anthropometric data, leaving women and smaller-bodied workers with equipment that does not fit properly. Ill-fitting PPE is not only uncomfortable but also unsafe.
This Women in Safety Excellence (WISE) event will explore the science, research, and standards driving the future of inclusive PPE. Participants will hear from two experienced industry leaders and engage in a hands-on demonstration to understand how proper fit impacts safety and performance. Refreshments and food will be provided by our generous hosts, Industrial Safety & Rescue.
